Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey 4K limited-edition Steelbook is available to pre-order on Amazon, according to Consequence. The two-disc release is listed for November 17, 2026, and includes 12 production featurettes described as personally overseen by Nolan.

Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey 4K limited-edition Steelbook is now available for pre-order on Amazon, with the two-disc home-video release listed for November 17, 2026. The edition includes 12 behind-the-scenes featurettes described in the product announcement as personally overseen by Nolan, giving fans a planned home release with additional production material.

Consequence reported that the Steelbook contains two discs and 12 featurettes covering different aspects of the film’s production. The report says the extras were “personally overseen by Christopher Nolan” and are intended to show the creative work and production craft behind the adaptation. The source does not provide individual featurette titles or running times.

The release is presented in 4K and packaged as a limited-edition Steelbook. Consequence identifies Amazon as the retailer currently accepting pre-orders. It does not state the price, whether the edition is exclusive to Amazon, or how many copies will be made available.

The film’s cast includes Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Tom Holland, Lupita Nyong’o, Samantha Morton and Himesh Patel, among others, according to the report. It lists November 17, 2026, as the release date. Buyers should check the retailer listing for current availability and ordering details, which may change.

A Home Release With Production Extras

The announcement gives viewers who missed the theatrical run, or who want to revisit the film, a specific physical 4K edition to order. The main added attraction disclosed so far is the set of 12 production featurettes, which could offer insight into how Nolan’s adaptation was made. The number of extras is confirmed in the report, but their subjects and depth have not been itemized.

The Steelbook format also makes this a distinct collector-oriented release, though the word “limited” alone does not establish how scarce it will be. The listed date and pre-order availability let prospective buyers plan ahead, while price and stock information remain dependent on the retailer’s current listing.

From Theatrical Release to 4K

Consequence describes The Odyssey as a major box-office success and says it may be a contender in the lead-up to the 2027 Academy Awards. Those are the outlet’s characterizations and outlook, rather than details established by the home-video announcement. The source provides no box-office figures or awards nominations, and a potential awards campaign should not be read as a confirmed nomination.

The film adapts Homer’s legendary tale and is directed by Nolan, according to the report. The Steelbook announcement moves attention from the theatrical presentation to a forthcoming home format, with the additional featurettes forming the clearest disclosed difference beyond the 4K presentation and packaging.

Price, Stock and Extras Details

The source report does not give the pre-order price, the number of copies planned, or whether the Steelbook will be sold by retailers other than Amazon. It also does not specify whether the November 17 date is a confirmed final street date or whether it could change.

Further details about the 12 featurettes—including their titles, duration, and whether the set includes other bonus content—are not provided. The source also does not spell out technical specifications beyond identifying the release as 4K. These details should be checked against an up-to-date retailer listing or an official studio announcement.

Check the Listing Before Release

For now, the next step for interested buyers is to review the Amazon product page for current price and availability and confirm the listed delivery or release information when placing an order. The reported release date is November 17, 2026; changes to that date or the product description would need confirmation from the retailer or distributor.

More specific information about the extras may emerge through a fuller product listing or a formal home-entertainment announcement. Until then, the confirmed details in the report are the two-disc 4K Steelbook format, 12 featurettes, pre-orders on Amazon, and the listed release date.
